Three Finger Jack's was named after Dinuba’s landmark “The Bountiful Hand.”
This statue was carved out of redwood by Carroll Barns in 1949 and was created to point Old Highway 99 motorists to the city of Dinuba. The nickname was coined by Dinuba Sentinel’s editor at the time which caused quite a stir.
Today, the statue sits in front of the Dinuba Police station on the highly trafficked Alta Avenue.
